The Battle Against Hunger relies heavily on the willingness and skills of volunteers each year. Volunteer opportunities with our Support and Gear (SAG) team include:
  • Joining at a stationary SAG stop, in which you provide riders with water, snacks, and anything they need. SAG volunteers check riders in and out at each stop.
  • Serving as a roving SAG volunteer, in which you drive between designated SAG stops, to ensure riders are safe and accounted-for along the route.
  • Helping with other logistics, such as assisting with registration, meal orders, picking up supplies, or many other options.
Families are welcome to join. Kids love to help on SAG teams!

Registration

Registration on the SAG team for the 2023 ride costs $275. Registration includes lodging, meals, the finish line celebration, and a lot of fun!
