The Ride
What is the route like? Do I need to train?
Your physical condition is critical and all riders should properly train in the months preceding the ride. The bike tour route is a combination of flat, rolling and hilly roads in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The route chosen takes riders through the beautiful scenic views of the Amish and Pennsylvania countryside. Are rest and refreshment stops available along the way? Yes, at predetermined stops approximately every 20 miles you will find our friendly volunteers ready to help you refuel with snacks and drinks. What if I get tired or can't complete the day's ride? If needed, riders may request to be shuttled by support vehicles until they are ready to resume riding. The SAG (Support and Gear) is always available to assist riders for any reason. Where can I find out more? Click here to review the BAH Participants' Manual, which includes BAH history, course details, fundraising information, and other facts. |
