Route Info

Using the Ride With GPS App.
  1. It's easy, just go to their site and sign up - it's free! https://ridewithgps.com
  2. Get the App, it's free also: https://ridewithgps.com/app
  3. On the webiste, sign in to you Ride With GPS (RWG) login
  4. In this page click on each route separately and when it appears in RWG, select the "Copy to my Routes" link on the right.
  5. Make certain the "Location" option is ON on your phone
  6. Now on you phone open the RWG app and login if you haven't.
  7. Go to your routes and select the desired route.
  8. You can now choose to follow the route. But this isn't necessary. RWG will display the route and show where you are. So you'll see if you're on the route or made a wrong turn.​

Routes

BAH uses the Ride with GPS app, which is available for download at https://ridewithgps.com/app.

​We will also provide cue sheets at the pre-ride meetings.

2-Day Ride:

Day 1, Segment 1 - Gettysburg to York Park
Day 1, Segment 2 - York Park to Lancaster
Day 2, Segment 1 - ​Lancaster to Rotary Field
Day 2, Segment 2 - Rotary Field to Washington Crossing United Methodist Church

1-Day Rides:

Signature Two Day Ride

200-mile.

Join us for our legendary 2-day ride. It covers approximately 200 miles over two days!
Day one: breakfast is available at 5:30AM, and the start time is 6:00AM from the 1863 Inn of Gettysburg @ 516 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
Day two: breakfast is also available at 5:30 AM, and we again start at 6:00 AM from the Hampton Inn @ 545 Greenfield Rd., Lancaster, Pennsylvania.​
One Day Rides

76 and 64-mile.
​

44 and 28-mile.

For the 76 and 64-mile rides, the start time will vary between 8:30AM and 9:30AM on September 13, 2020.
​Riders will receive regular updates concerning the exact start time as it may vary depending on how many riders participate.
For the 44 and 28-mile ride, the start time will vary between 10:30AM and 11:30AM on September 13, 2020.
​Riders will receive regular updates concerning the exact start time as it may vary depending on how many riders participate.

George and Kinny's Canal Path Ride or Walk.

This family friendly event will be held from NOON until 5:00PM on September 15, 2019 on the towpath at Washington Crossing Park. Riders and walkers can go as far as 50 miles (out and back).

All walkers and riders will return to Washington Pavilion (at Washington Crossing Park) by 5:00PM for BBQ at the annual finish line celebration.

The course is marked along the way, and riders are informed in advance about stationary SAG stops, which are stocked with water, food, basic first aid items, and volunteers.
Riders are encouraged to provide their cell phone numbers and take their phones with them. Volunteers may use text messages or our new GroupMe chats to inform riders of hazards or necessary information about the route.
